Team
Our veterinarians and assistants, with many years of experience and outstanding expertise, are ready to care for your pets in need of healing.
Our team regularly participates in professional training to apply the most modern diagnostic and treatment methods, ensuring a high standard of both surgical and outpatient care.
I was born in Budapest, and after graduating from Fazekas Mihály Secondary School, I became a student at the University of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. During my university years, I developed a strong interest in surgery, and I plan to further specialize in this field in the future. In 2024, I obtained my specialist qualification in small animal practice.
I have been passionate about animals since childhood; even as a child, I spent a lot of time with our family pets or walking in the Budapest Zoo. Currently, I live with five cats and one dog, and I am also the proud owner of an Arabian thoroughbred.
Dr. Bianka Nyitrai-Berdin
Clinical veterinarian – surgery, dentistry, internal medicine

I was born in Budapest. Since childhood, I have had many different animals, but my greatest passion has always been dogs. The more I learn about them, the more I love them, and I am continually amazed by how much they adapt to us, how much they contribute to our lives and the world, and how they support people in so many ways.
Already during my university years, I regularly visited small animal clinics, where I later also worked as a veterinary assistant. Occasionally, I also gained experience at the university’s exotic animal department. I graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. After graduation, I began working as a small animal veterinarian (dogs and cats), but I also treated small mammals, especially rabbits. My main areas of interest are ultrasound diagnostics and cardiology, in which I continuously strive to improve my skills.
My goal is to make veterinary visits as stress-free as possible for the animals in my care. Therefore, I am also expanding my knowledge in Fear Free practice and Cooperative Care, helping not only my patients but also their owners to make home care less stressful. In my free time, I attend dog training school, go hiking and do sports with my own dog, read, and visit exhibitions.

Veterinarian - ultrasound diagnostics, internal medicine

I have more than seven years of experience in orthopedic, soft tissue, and oncological care of small animals. I strongly believe in continuous learning and professional development, which is why I completed a two-year internship at the University of Veterinary Medicine hospital, where I deepened my knowledge under the guidance of excellent mentors. I also spent a year in the United Kingdom at the renowned hospital of Noel Fitzpatrick, „The Supervet”, where I acquired world-class surgical techniques.
Over the past two years, I worked in the UK as a lead surgeon in a large animal hospital, where I had the opportunity to manage complex surgical cases and continue my professional development. During this time, I regularly attended international courses - AOvet Principles and Advanced Course, as well as the Arthrex Arthroscopy Course - to ensure I provide the most advanced and effective treatments for my patients.
Recently, my wife and I relocated to Hungary, and I am excited about the new challenges ahead, as well as building professional and community connections here.
Dr. Kristóf Diószegi
Specialist small animal orthopedic surgeon

I was born in Budapest, completed my secondary education at Fazekas Mihály Secondary School, and obtained my veterinary degree in 1986. I worked for six years at the National Veterinary Institute, and in 1992 I established my own small animal practice at 32-esek tere, later obtaining my clinical specialist qualification in small animal medicine.
I strive to provide comprehensive care and have always treated my patients in a “family-like” atmosphere. When establishing the clinic on Böszörményi Road, I aimed for high-quality improvements, meeting today’s highest professional standards.
About my family: my wife, my son, and my daughter-in-law all work as physicians. I have a lovely granddaughter. Our home is completed by two adopted mixed-breed dogs (Zsömi on the left, Tücsi on the right).

I was born in Vojvodina, in Subotica. My family loves animals, so I have been surrounded by them for as long as I can remember. I share my everyday life with my dog, Legó.
It has been my childhood dream to work with animals, and fortunately, I have the opportunity to do so here at the clinic.
Szintia Gugánovic
Veterinary assistant

I was born in Szeged, but grew up in a nearby village. I consider myself lucky, as I had many pets during my childhood, which allowed me to learn how to care for them from an early age.
I truly enjoy working with animals and taking care of them, so my work at the clinic is more of a source of fulfillment - especially seeing how many animals we are able to help. As soon as I had the opportunity, I adopted a cat named Luno, with whom I now share my everyday life. In the future, I also plan to expand my family of pets.

Veterinary assistant

Ant, hedgehog, lizard, earthworm, parrot, stag beetle, kitten- and finally, a dog! This is the long story of Märy, my little fox terrier, whom I received at the age of 13. She was my sibling, my friend, my companion. I took her everywhere with me - except to school. She passed away on the very day my child was born. Since then, I have almost always had a dog, and during my years in the countryside, also cats. The world of animals is wonderfully fascinating - we are lucky if we can take a glimpse into it. Four years ago, my husband and I welcomed Picur, a little Havanese boy, into our family. Alongside our grandchildren, he also enjoys all our love.
Being part of the Böszivet team is both interesting and an honor - it is demanding and full of responsibility. We are a supportive, close-knit team, motivated by our love for animals and our desire to help. I feel I connect well with pet owners too; thanks to my age and experience, I can easily relate to their emotions when they entrust us with their beloved pets. And when a waking dog rests its head on my knee as if telling me its story - that is truly heartwarming. With a bag of pet food always behind me, it’s no wonder they enjoy visiting me.
